Colera owned was located in Edinburg Texas at
501 West Van Week Street (MAP). House on Tourist Drive in Edinburg, Texas, Circa 1940's The Skinner House and 10 acres of land, was bought by Layman
& Colera Skinner in 1943. It is located South of Edinburg, Texas on
the old Highway 281, which was later rerouted and named Tourist Drive, (MAP). The house was:
Downstairs, 2 bedrooms, bath, living room, dining room, kitchen,
breakfast nook & washroom. Upstairs was 2 bedrooms with large hallway
where Lasche and Laydean had their play room with their toys and doll
furniture.

House at the Arroyo City, Texas, Layman's fishing place.
Cabin at Port Isabel, Texas, in 1958. The cabin was constructed from an old school bus and VTC bus with a breeze way in between. The breeze way (floor and roof) was made from the floor of a skating rink that was torn up when a hurricane came thru and Layman bought the good stuff that was left.
