Limestone county is located in East Central Texas on the divide between the Brazos and Trinity rivers. Groesbeck is the county seat.  Other towns are Mexia, Coolidge, Kosse, and Thornton.  Limestone county is home to Mexia State School, Fort Parker State Park, Old Fort Parker State Historical Park and Lake Limestone.  Government and Trade are the major employment industries for the area.
